Officials said one person was injured in a fast-moving house fire in Northeast Philadelphia Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out around 6 a.m. on the 6600 block of Lynford Street.
Fire crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the row house.
Firefighters rescued a 15-year-old girl from the rear of the home. Medics treated her for smoke inhalation, then transported her to the hospital in serious condition.
The fire was placed under control a short time later.
The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist.
