Fire investigators are searching for the cause of a blaze that gutted a house on Coleman Avenue on Tuesday. It is the second time a vacant house in the Moxham section of the city has gone up in flames in less than a week. The fire started around 12:40 p.m. in the living room-area of the first floor at 760 Coleman Ave., city fire Chief Robert Statler said. Firefighters from Richland Township and West Hills also responded to the two-alarm blaze. “They had a pretty quick knock-down,” Statler said. No injuries were reported. Fire destroyed a house on Lunen Street on April 10. That house had been boarded up two or three years ago, Statler said. City fire investigators, a state police fire marshal and Johnstown police detectives are trying to determine if the two fires are related.
