The fire started around 6 a.m. Tuesday on North Walnut Street. Edward Koblinski sat on the curb looking at his ruined house on North Walnut Street in Mount Carmel Tuesday morning. It's a place he has called home for more than 40 years. "The fire was coming from the front of the house they have a bow window in the front, it was coming from the front. Then it just progressed and progressed and fire shot from the side of their house," he said. Fire crews said the flames started at the house next to Koblinsk's and spread fast. One neighbor described it as a fireball.
