The Cornwall Borough Police Department has started a GoFundMe to help a Cornwall Borough firefighter who had a heart attack while responding to a call in Lebanon Township over the weekend. On the evening of Friday, June 14, Jeffery Iceman of the Community Fire Company of Cornwall Borough responded to a second alarm fire at 908 2nd Ave in South Lebanon Township. Shortly after arriving on the scene, Iceman collapsed after suffering a heart attack. He received immediate care from firefighters and EMS on the scene who were able to resuscitate him. Iceman was transported to the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where he is in stable condition. Cornwall Police are asking for donations to help with Iceman's personal expenses as he will not be able to work while facing a long recovery. Iceman is married and has two daughters.
