It was an intense scene Tuesday night when firefighters made a quick journey to a house fire at the corner of Welch and Cornen streets in Bradford City.
When firefighters were told not all occupants were accounted for, they began a search to see if anyone was still in the home, reports indicate.
Reports say a helicopter from Air Med was put on standby, but orders were given to stand down after the search was negative for inhabitants.
Bradford City firefighters were dispatched at 9:51 p.m. for multiple reports of a fire in the second floor of the structure. A short time later, a second alarm was called to include the Derrick City and Bradford Township volunteer fire departments. Bradford Township was reportedly on standby.
