Dara Stover had difficulty finding the words to describe her feelings. “Surreal,” she finally said, as she looked at the fire damage to her house on Tuesday afternoon. “I can’t believe this is happening,” she said, after a pause. “Again.” Dara Stover, 52, her husband, Fred, and their family are homeless after their home was heavily damaged in a fire on Tuesday morning. A volunteer firefighter was also injured when a fire broke out in their Fairview Township residence. Dara Stover said their daughter suffered a house fire in Erie two years ago. The Stovers, their daughter, son-in-law and their five school-age grandchildren lived in the Fairview house. “The kids weren’t over (the first fire). And that’s breaking my heart,” she said. Fairview Fire and Rescue and several neighboring volunteer fire departments were sent to 5700 Franklin Road, at the intersection of Franklin Road and Fairfield Drive west of Avonia Road, after the fire was reported on Tuesday at 8:36 a.m.
