The owner of a home destroyed by a fire in Northampton County has launched a GoFundMe campaign. The campaign is not to help rebuild, but to benefit all the fire companies that responded. Seven fire departments battled the fire on Rising Sun Court in Upper Nazareth Township last week. A dog died, and the fire left the home gutted. The homeowner says he's devastated, but also thankful for the firefighters who "courageously fought this burning inferno." That's why the owner has started an online fundraiser to help what he calls "The Rising Sun Fire Brigade." The money will be split equally between the fire departments.
