PHOTOS: An animal shelter in the Poconos is reeling from a devastating loss. Fire broke out early Friday morning at Camp Papillon Animal Shelter in Hamilton Township, Monroe County, according to a post on the shelter's Facebook page. The cat cottage was completely destroyed and all 10 cats inside died, including three kittens, the shelter said. "Each had their own stories of survival," the post said. "They all made it here through challenges... Thanks to the best staff and volunteers, they were surrounded by love, some for the first time in their lives." Photos show flames engulfing the building.
