The house is in a remote location, but distant neighbors described being awoken by loud bangs and coming outside to see the house on fire. "We were awakened by explosions, maybe overall three or four or five big explosions. So I walked over the flames were shooting maybe 30 high and embers were drifting that way towards the forest and the trees and firefighters were all around hitting the house with a lot of water," David Xu said. The fire company got the call around 12:30 this morning and worked tirelessly until 1:30 in the afternoon on the scene.
