A fire at a home in Falls Township’s Levittown section remains under investigation. The fire happened in the 100 block of Elderberry Drive at the corner of Elves Lane just past 11 p.m. Tuesday. Crews arrived to find flames shooting from the Levitt-built house and got to work putting them down with an aggressive interior attack. The family was able to escape with their dog. A male resident suffered smoke inhalation and a female resident suffered a medical issue. Both were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, an official said. Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said the blaze started in a bedroom and spread throughout the home. The cause remained under investigation as of Wednesday morning.
