The coroner has been called to the scene of a fire that broke out Monday morning in Schuylkill County. The fire was reported to have started around 2:30 a.m. on the 100 block of East Grand Avenue in Tower City. Schuylkill County Dispatch tells Eyewitness News that the coroner has been called to the scene. Russell Artz lives a few doors down from where the fire broke out. He came out early Monday morning to see what was going on, he said he saw the flames coming out of the roof and a lot of smoke. He’s lived in Tower City for 30 years, saying it’s typically quiet. “I heard the coroner was here, I seen he was here along with the fire marshal so,” said Artz. “So, we were called to a reported structure fire here in the 100 block of East Grand Ave. When we arrived on scene, we saw flames going out the back of the building,” said Tower City Fire Chief Mike Keiter.
