A house fire that killed five dogs on Tuesday afternoon rekindled early Wednesday morning. Crews were initially called to the scene on the 3900 block of Main Street in McKeesport a little after 3 p.m. Tuesday. No one was home when the fire broke out and five dogs that were on the second floor died. About 12 hours later the fire rekindled and multiple firefighters were called to the scene again. No injuries were reported in the rekindle. There was no immediate word on how the fire initially started but the fire marshal was investigating.
