VIDEO: Crews worked for more than one and half hours to put out a fire that ravaged an apartment building in Old Forge. The fire broke out at a home on the 110 block of Oak Street in Old Forge around 5:30 Wednesday night. Crews blocked off Oak Street while they worked to control the blaze. Police say that after scene examination the fire began on the second floor of the apartment building. Two firefighters were taken to the hospital for injuries that happened at the fire. All those who live in the building are displaced. The fire left the house “uninhabitable” due to sustained water, smoke and fire damage. The fire is ruled accidental and the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit will investigate the cause Thursday morning.
