Firefighters on Tuesday were called to a reported fire at a single-family home on Tuesday, working for just under an hour to extinguish the residential blaze.
The Spring Mill Fire Company No. 1 in Conshohocken says its crews were dispatched to a home on the unit block of Locust Way just after 2 in the afternoon Tuesday, where firefighters encountered a fire emanating from a second-story bedroom in the home.
It took firefighters around 45 minutes to place the fire under control, according to a Facebook post from the Spring Mill Fire Co.
Firefighters said the fire did not extend beyond the bedroom, and there were no reported injuries during the incident.
Spring Mill Fire Co. was assisted in fighting the fire by crews from nearby fire departments.
