PHOTOS: Multiple crews responded to a home in Scott Township this morning after receiving reports that a fire was tearing through one residence on Justus Boulevard.
Officials say the fire broke out around 7:30 AM at a home in the 200 block of Justus Boulevard.
Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from the roof of a home and worked for approximately 2 hours to put out the flames that had, at that point, reached the home's attic.
A second alarm was issued when the 'hard to reach fire' in the attic made it difficult for firefighters to navigate throughout the home.
After the flames were completely extinguished, the house was deemed to be a total loss.
Reports indicate that no one was home at the time of the blaze and no injuries were reported.
