Father-son firefighter duo from New Jersey put out truck fire on PA Turnpike in Carbon County

Father and son firefighters acted quickly after seeing a truck on fire on State Route 476, PSP says. According to state police, volunteer firefighters from the Daretown Fire Department, Cole, and Todd Crispin were driving along SR 476 in Carbon County around 3:00 p.m. on August 4, when they saw a driver operating a truck on fire. The duo pulled over to the shoulder of the roadway and used their extinguishers to put out the truck fire on the rear tire of the driver’s side, troopers stated. PSP noted that no one was injured during the incident.
