PHOTOS: A disabled man was killed Saturday after a deadly fire swept through an apartment complex in Lancaster County. Fire officials with the Lancaster Township Fire Department say they arrived to the Kensington Club Apartments in the 600 block of Wyncroft Lane just before 5pm Saturday to find heavy flames spewing from apartment 8. After a short while, the blaze escalated to a 2-alarm fire. Due to low water pressure in the complex, a task force of ten tankers from Manheim Township, Bird In Hand, Conestoga, New Danville, West Willow, Witmer, Hempfield, West Hempfield, and Blue Rock all had to respond to supply water. The bulk of the fire was under control just after 5pm, but crews were on scene for an additional hour afterwards, as parts of the complex continued to smolder afterwards.
