Doylestown Township Resident Rescued From Burning Home

First responders rescued a Doylestown Township resident from their burning home after fire broke out Sunday afternoon in the 400 block of Aster Lane. At 2:19 p.m., police, firefighters, and the emergency medical services responded to a dwelling fire with possible entrapment. According to fire officials, Doylestown Fire Company Chief Michael Wood arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire. He also reported that Doylestown Township Police and Central Bucks Regional Police were working to remove a resident from the structure. After arriving on scene, Doylestown Lt. Mithoefer performed searches of the residence and initiated patient care until the arrival of Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services, which transported one patient to the hospital. The patient's condition was not immediately known.
