Historic Tioga County inn destroyed in fire

PHOTO: A historic inn was left in ruin on Tuesday after an early-morning fire engulfed the building. According to information from First News Now, the Coach Stop Inn & Tavern in Ansonia, Pennsylvania burned down after an early-morning fire started just after midnight on Tuesday, June 18. FNN reported that crews responded to the scene around 12:20 a.m. with fire throughout the building. Images from the scene show heavy smoke billowing into the air as flames were coming from every window and door with the walls crumpling to the ground. FNN reports that at least nine fire departments from the area responded to the scene, with the primary departments being Wellsboro, Mansfield, and Goodyear Hose Company out of Galeton.
