VIDEO/PHOTOS: Firefighters from multiple counties responded to a large hay bale fire at a Dauphin County farm Tuesday morning. Crews were dispatched at 11:10 p.m. Monday to the blaze on the 500 block of Trail Road in East Hanover Township, emergency dispatchers confirmed. Lebanon, Lancaster and York Counties all sent firefighters to battle the blaze fire alongside Dauphin County crews. Fire officials told CBS 21 that the incident was initially reported as a small outside fire. Crews arrived on scene to find the massive fire, and it was upgraded to a near-third-alarm for more tankers. Chief Caul Schmolitz said that firefighters' main goal was to save a white barn on the farm's property nearby the burning hay bales.
