Brian Steverman, age 71, beloved husband of Diane (Selvidio) Steverman, of Ashaway, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 7th.
Born in Westerly, he was a son of the late James and Frances Steverman.
Brian worked as a chemical engineer and spent most of his career as the Director of Physical Plant for Coventry Public Schools. He attended Immaculate Conception School and was a graduate of LaSalle Academy and Manhattan College. In addition, he served in the National Guard. He was past secretary and an active member of the Bocce and Calabrese Clubs of Westerly and was District Commissioner for the Ashaway Fire District. Like a father to many and known as POPS, Brian's proudest accomplishment was his children and he found most joy in spending time with them along with his grandchildren.
