Police are searching for those responsible for vandalizing the West Warwick Firefighter's Memorial Park on Cowesett Avenue. According to the West Warwick firefighters Facebook page, the vandalism occurred sometime on Saturday at the Memorial Park near Station 4. Photos show an overturned stone bench and a memorial headstone that was pushed onto the stone walkway, causing damage to several bricks underneath. "Rest assured we are working with the West Warwick Police to make sure that the individual(s) will be held responsible," the Facebook post said.
