In the brisk cold, firefighters from multiple departments responded to a house fire in Central Falls Saturday night. Crews responded to 73 Summer Street shortly after 7 p.m. and were met by flames and smoke. "I pulled up with seven guys to fight this big fire that was going pretty good. I didn't have any help from out of town yet. We had guys in the building trying to put the fire out, we ran out of water because we had an exposure problem on the outside so trying to knock that down, so we had to pull everybody out of the building so we could lay a feeder line in and get this fire put out," Central Falls Fire Chief Ken Brousseau said. Everyone made it out of the building safely before crews arrived, including resident Vicky Sinkler and her son. "I thought I heard someone screaming, but I wasn't sure. My kitchen was a little smoky, but we weren't cooking anything so I knew it had to be coming from somewhere else," she said.
