Warwick Police have arrested a woman they say is responsible for setting a fire at the Les Chateaux apartment complex on Warwick Avenue that displaced 60 people. The fire broke out on Saturday, February 13. Battalion Chief Tom Brady said at the time the fire started in the basement, before spreading up the stairs and into the building’s lobby. The 3-story, multi-family apartment complex had a total of 46 units. All residents of the complex were displaced – 46 adults and 11 children – according to the Red Cross. On Thursday police arrested 28-year-old Aiyana Milton of Charlestown and charged her with arson. Police said she was temporarily staying at the complex and set the fire in a storage area.
