PHOTOS: Johnston Fire Chief Peter Lamb said Monday that three tractor-trailer trucks were destroyed in a fire at a construction company. Fire and police responded to Vinagro Corporation at 14 Green Hill Road at about 4 p.m. Sunday. Flames engulfed three tractor-trailer trucks as thick black smoke caught the attention of town residents who chimed in videos and images to NBC 10. Lamb reported no damage to buildings. He noted that a "good amount" of diesel fuel leaked from the tractor trailers and notified the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management. The fire department said believes that the cause of the fire was an electrical shortage. It was under investigation.
