One person was injured and a house was destroyed in a fire Friday morning. The fire began about 8:45 a.m. while a man was refilling a propane tank outside a home on Abbott Lane, Walhalla Fire Chief Brandon Burton said. Burton said the fire spread to the entire home and the home was destroyed. He said the man refilling the tank was injured and was flown from the scene with injuries. The American Red Cross is assisting the family of three who are without a home.
