VIDEOS: Investigators are working to determine the cause of an early-morning fire at a home in North Charleston. Charleston County dispatchers received the first 911 call at 3:45 a.m. about the fire at the Brigham Court home, according to North Charleston Deputy Fire Chief Stephanie Julazadeh. The first units on the scene reported heavy smoke coming from the garage of the home. Firefighters worked to put out that fire and began to search for anyone inside the home. The fire in the garage spread to the attic and caused significant damage to the roof. The fire appeared to be out shortly after 4:30 a.m. but a portion of the garage’s roof appeared to have caved in. Julazadeh said the occupants of the home and their pets were accounted for after the fire was out. No one was injured.
