Crews responded to a flipped car on fire in Surfside Beach Saturday afternoon. Horry County Fire Rescue said they responded at 12:06 p.m. to the 1500 block of Gibson Avenue following an accident. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was vacant, crews said. Crews said they were able to extinguish the fire. The Surfside Beach Fire Department, Horry County Police Department and South Carolina Department of Public Safety also responded to the incident.
