The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office and the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) are investigating a house fire Wednesday afternoon on Rocky Ridge Road in the Wallace community of Marlboro County, according to Investigator Clay Anderson Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office. The homeowner said the fire ravished and destroyed her house along with an outbuilding. There’s not much left of the home and the part of the structure is leveled and barely standing. The homeowner said one of her dogs had to be treated for minor burns. Anderson said at this time, no one is reported to be injured by the fire. A preliminary cause of the fire hasn’t been released.
