VIDEO: Memphis firefighters found a house full of children home alone when they were called to a fire Monday morning. Now their father is facing charges. The fire broke out on Willow Road around 9 a.m. Memphis Fire Lt. Wayne Cooke said neighbors were able to help five children get out of the home safely. Nobody was injured in the fire. Regina Allen, the children’s grandmother, took WMC’s Chris Luther inside the home Monday afternoon. “This is the room where the fire started,” she said. Inside the Crawford family home nothing is untouched by the fire. “They lost everything,” said Allen. “Nothing was saved.” The children -- all boys ranging from 3 to 9 years old -- were home alone but miraculously uninjured.
