VIDEO: Chattanooga firefighters battled a trailer fire Tuesday afternoon. CFD was called to 619 Boyce Street shortly after 1 o'clock. Upon arrival, responders were informed by neighbors that there may be an occupant inside the trailer. They attempted to search but were unable to fully conduct a search due to the intensity of the heat and smoke. According to Captain David Brooks, additional responders arrived on scene and use a hand-held hose to enter the burning trailer. After the fire was extinguished, it was determined that no one was inside the structure. While the fire caused significant damage to the trailer, no one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
