VIDEO: Chattanooga firefighters were sent to the scene after a radio tower fell in the woods Thursday morning. It happened at WNOO off of Hendricks Street, which is near Holtzclaw Avenue. Our NewsChannel 9 SkyCam captured video of the scene from above. Our crew on the scene says no one was hurt. It's not clear what caused the tower to tip over. We reached out to the radio station and to the fire department, but haven't yet heard back. After the tower fell, some of the same firefighters responded to a partial roof collapse. Our NewsChannel 9 SkyCam followed them to a warehouse building at River Bend Materials at 4300 Amnicola Highway. You can see from above that part of the roof is sagging. We reached out to the fire department about this incident as well. CFD spokesman Chuck Hartung said that a forklift operator hit a support post holding up the roof structure. Hartung sent us pictures from inside, and says you can see the post that was hit.
