PHOTOS: Firefighters in Cleveland worked overnight to put out a major fire at the Whitewater Lodge, just off of APD 40.
Cleveland Fire Chief Ron Harrison tells us one person was flown to the hospital with injuries. Right now, we don't know their condition.
Chief Harrison says the fire burned 12 rooms in the structure. The fire broke out at about 1 a.m., and Chief Harrison says seven trucks and twenty firefighters responded to the scene. They managed to get the fire out in about a half hour. Viewer Lee Millsap shared photos from the scene showing several first responders on the scene, including a Lifeforce helicopter.
As you can see from the photos, the apartment complex is behind a Burger King, which was not affected by the fire.
Chief Williams says the fire caused an estimated $750,000 in damage. Investigators are working to learn what caused the fire.
