PHOTOS: Murfreesboro Fire Rescue crews were busy bees Friday! The department rehomed a swarm of 20,000 bees. Fire & Life Safety Specialist Keith Elrod and Training Coordinator Nicole Miller are also beekeepers. Friday afternoon, they safely removed the swarm from a tree in Murfreesboro with the help of Assistant Chief Jernigan. According to Murfreesboro Fire Rescue, the bees were safely relocated.
