PHOTOS: The Johnson City Fire Department responded to a house fire Monday night. It happened in the area of Unaka Avenue and Welbourne Street. Neighbors told News Channel 11 that the house had been vacant for some time. Police said East Unaka Avenue would remain closed between Elm and North Roan streets for much of the night. Washington County dispatch has confirmed with News Channel 11 that East Unaka Avenue between Elm and North Roan streets has reopened as of 2:10 am Tuesday morning.
