Memphis firefighters battled a structure fire at a vacant building in Frayser early Monday morning.
The blaze happened at a building at 2970 N. Watkins, near Whitney Avenue, officials confirmed. Officials with the Memphis Fire Department confirmed a call about the fire came in just before 5 a.m. No firefighters or civilians were injured in the blaze.
MFD said the fire was brought under control by 5:05 a.m. Total estimated damage is $101,800.
The fire started inside the building, but the cause is still under investigation.
