VIDEO: The Lubbock Fire Department responded to a fire Wednesday morning at the former Eagle Pointe Townhomes apartment building at 6100 Avenue R. Firefighters were called to the scene just after midnight. Crews found lots of smoke was coming from the building but they were able to quickly extinguish the fire. After an investigation the Lubbock Fire Marshal’s Office classified the cause of the fire as “undetermined.”
