VIDEO: A charter bus caught fire Thursday morning on Hwy 281 in Blanco County.
It happened near Hwy 281 and RR 1323, between Johnson City and Marble Falls.
Blanco County EMS Chief Ben Oakley says the bus was part of a convoy of three motor coaches. The two other buses were not affected. 43 people were on board, and six were transported to a local facility. None had life threatening injuries.
The bus was coming back from a church retreat in Buckner, near Burnet, and headed back to Summit Christian Center in San Antonio. Pastor Rick Godwin tweeted out a photo of the fire, saying that all of the children on board exited safely.
