On Tuesday the Provo Municipal Council will get its first introduction to the new city hall project team.
The last member to join is recently selected Layton Construction. Layton is not new to Provo. It is the construction company that built the popular recreation center and the new Provo Energy building.
“I’m excited Layton came out of the interview process,” said Scott Henderson, project team leader. “They are seasoned with their past experience. It is a cohesive team.”
The city center building project team includes Henderson, Layton Construction, VCBO Architect, Mayor Michelle Kaufusi, Chief Administrative Officer Wayne Parker, Police Chief Rich Ferguson, Fire Chief Jim Miguel and Dick Blackham, facilities service manager.
