VIDEO: Crews responded to a 10-acre wildfire near Camp Williams and the National Security Agency Data Center in Bluffdale Monday afternoon, according to fire officials. The fire started off small but increased in size, according to Unified Fire Authority spokesman Keith Garner. Crews think the fire started from a construction project west of Redwood Road. "There was a civilian area ... they were putting in a water tank for a future development," Garner said. "And they're thinking the fire originated from there." At one point the fire, which started on private property, burned within 500 yards of NSA data center buildings, Unified Fire officials said. Crews were mopping by 6:30 p.m. and Unified Fire officials said they considered themselves lucky given the summer heat and dry conditions.
