Salt Lake City Public utilities tweeted about the incident around 7:44 a.m., stating there is a water main break at 170 East and 1st Avenue. Emergency crews on site smelled natural gas, so Salt Lake City Fire crews have been dispatched. “Repair crews will begin work as soon as all is determined safe,” the tweet states.
