One man is dead after a crash in Stansbury Park Tuesday morning. Officials with the Utah Highway Patrol say a black GMC Sierra was traveling northbound on SR-36 when it drifted off the right shoulder of the roadway. The driver overcorrected left causing the vehicle to slide across the northbound lanes and hit the center concrete barrier, officials say. The vehicle went over the barrier and into the southbound travel lanes and continued to travel northbound in the southbound travel lanes until it started to roll. Officials say the car rolled multiple times before going off the shoulder. Utah Highway Patrol has identified the driver as Michael S. Gollaher, 62, from Lake Point. Officials say Gollaher was ejected from the vehicle during the roll and has died from his injuries.
