VIDEO: A two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in front of Walgreens at the intersection of Sunset and Dixie Drive sent three people to the hospital after a collision police say was the result of failure to yield.
Shortly before 9 a.m., officers and emergency personnel responded to the scene and found a white Chevrolet Traverse partially blocking the southbound lane of Dixie Drive, while a white Chrysler Pacifica was launched onto the sidewalk and came to rest on the grass in front of Walgreens.
St. George Police Officer Tiffany Lee told St. George News that at the time of the crash, the Chrysler was heading east on Sunset while the Chevrolet was heading south on Dixie Downs Road.
At the intersection, the Chrysler was turning left onto Dixie Drive to head south and was struck by the Chevrolet as it continued through the intersection on a red light.
