Five adults and six children have been displaced after a fire damaged an apartment complex in the Bowers Hill area Thursday evening. Fire officials received the call for the fire in 4000 block of Foxglove Court at 6:01 p.m. and arrived on scene eight minutes later. Crews saw heavy fire showing from the roof of the structure. Firefighters brought the fire under control at 7 p.m. The fire caused damage to three apartments at the complex. However firefighters were able to stop the advance of the fire prior to it affecting the other three apartments in the complex. The displaced residents are being assisted by the American Red Cross. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
