Video shows how quickly a cigarette caused major fire at Fairfax County bank

New video obtained by ABC7 shows just how quickly throwing a cigarette on the ground can lead to a massive fire. Watch closely as flames ignite the mulch then a bush outside the United Bank in Fairfax. Within seconds the building is burning. "Never flick cigarettes into mulch or shrubbery," says Acting Fairfax Fire Chief John Caussin. That's just one urgent warning from Fairfax County Fire and Rescue after three major fires just hours apart on May 2 caused millions in damage. And left more than 100 people displaced. The acting chief calling it unprecedented.
