Judge orders Warren County arson suspect held in jail

A Warren County man remains in jail accused of setting fire to a family member’s home in July. Carl Wayne Robinson appeared in Warren County General District Court on Tuesday where he stands charged with arson of an occupied dwelling. A warrant for his arrest on the charge identifies Robinson and Carolyn Funk as the property’s owners. Warren County online property records list Funk as the owner. Judge W. Dale Houff ordered Robinson, 46, of 849 W. 11th St., Front Royal, to remain held at the Rappahannock-Shenandoah-Warren Regional Jail. Houff appointed Ryan Nuzzo to represent Robinson and scheduled the defendant’s next appearance for Sept. 18. Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Samantha Meadows appeared for the prosecutor’s office.
