Roanoke County Fire & Rescue has concluded its investigation and found that the cause of the cause of the Oakgrove Village fire was accidental, but the exact cause is not known.
The damages are estimated at $30,000. The blaze displaced three units, a total of five adults and two children, officials said in a statement.
Those occupants are being assisted by property managers, the statement said.
An apartment fire caused damage to several units on Monday, according to fire and rescue officials.
Roanoke County Fire and Rescue responded to a call at 12:25 p.m. Monday at the 2100 block of Electric Road, in the Oakgrove Village Apartments, which is located in the Cave Spring area, for the report of a commercial structure fire, according to a release from the city.
