VIDEO: The Timberlake Motel is partially open today as crews continue to clean-up after the blaze.
The Brookville-Timberlake Fire Department received a call around 11 last night of a structure fire at the motel. The fire began in room 107 and damage spread to nearby rooms, and they are blocked off at this time.
Crews worked until 3 a.m.
Four people were treated for smoke inhalation.
Motel owner Nisha Patel says she's thankful no one was seriously injured.
"When my staff called us, the only thing that we could think about was, 'I hope the staff, the guests and whoever else is around this property is out,'" Patel said. "That's the main thing that we all worry about. It's not just the building. People are more important than the building is."
