Guest house in Crozet catches fire

A guest house in Crozet caught on fire Thursday morning. Units from Albemarle County were dispatched to a fire in a detached guest house on Sandy Gibson Road around 5:40 a.m. and arrived in 12 minutes. The fire was extinguished and units prevented it from spreading. However, the building is being considered a total loss, according to a news release. No one was in the guest house during the fire and no one helping put out the fire was hurt. Those who were residing in the guest house are now staying with friends and family. The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the Albemarle County Fire Marshal's Office.
