Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a townhouse fire in Vienna Wednesday. The fire happened in the 400 block of Council Drive NE. Units encountered smoke on the second floor and worked to extinguish a fire in the attic. No injuries were reported. Investigators were on the scene to determine the cause of the fire. A portion of Church Street was temporarily closed for the response but has reopened.
